Offer flexible payment options to your residents
After a lease is signed, we onboard all new residents to their personal Onerent resident dashboard.
Tenants have the ability to setup rent payments by directly connecting their desired bank account for free online
ACH payments. If you have multiple residents, each individual can setup their own payment and split the rent
accordingly among roommates. Tenants can setup rent payments via our mobile or desktop application and can
track their payment history from the dashboard. If necessary, we also accept payments via check or money
orders in physical mail.
Our lease states that rent is due on the first and late on the second because we’ve given
residents the ability to setup scheduled one-time or automated monthly payments. Onerent will handle the
collections process for owners who are using our Full-service management product. In the situation that
we’ve qualified and placed Onerent-guaranteed renters, Onerent will collect late fees if the tenant does
not pay on time. In the case that the tenant has not paid within 3 days of the due date, then we will
send a 3-day notice to pay or quit. If the tenant is covered by our $15k eviction coverage, then we’ll
handle and cover all legal fees associated with an eviction process.
